Thanks to the generosity of supporters, notably the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, Arts Council England SE, NADFAS South Mercia, Malcolm Appleby, and Rod Kelly Bishopsland is sometimes able to offer Bursaries to prospective members who would not otherwise be able to afford course fees. Bursaries are usually available up to a maximum of 50% of workshop fees.

Bursaries are available to applicants who have been accepted for the course. Once a place has been secured, ask for a Bursary Application Form. Bursaries are awarded taking into account the following:

• Quality of Work
• Your personal and family financial position
• Bishopsland's ability to help in your career.
